Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of HS Codes Classifier ("Service", "we", "us"), including our website at boring-saas-infra.pages.dev, our REST API, our Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, and our Google Sheets add-on.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
HS Codes Classifier is an AI-powered classification tool that converts product descriptions into Harmonized System (HS) codes and related customs metadata. The Service is provided for informational purposes and to assist with customs classification workflows.
2. Not Professional Advice
The Service does not provide legal, customs, tax, or professional advice. HS codes produced by the Service are generated by AI models and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying any HS code with a licensed customs broker, official tariff schedule, or the relevant customs authority before relying on it for import, export, or any commercial purpose.
We make no guarantee that any classification produced by the Service is accurate, complete, or accepted by any customs authority or jurisdiction.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Accounts, API Keys, and Subscriptions
4.1 Free tier
The Service offers a free tier with limited usage. We may modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
4.2 Pro subscription
The Pro plan is billed at $9.99 USD per month via our payment processor, Suby (suby.fi). Payments may be made with supported credit/debit cards or supported cryptocurrencies.
4.3 API keys
Upon successful subscription, you will receive an API key with the prefix hsc_. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Any activity performed with your API key is your responsibility.
4.4 Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
- Use the Service to build a competing classification product.
- Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or paywalls.
- Upload content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, logos, or branding.
You retain ownership of the product descriptions you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service.
7. Fees, Taxes, and Payment
All fees are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes arising from your use of the Service.

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
